My favourite toy is a rip stick scooter. I got it for last Christmas from my mum and dad. It is my favourite toy because it is fun to ride on. It is really important to me because I want to learn how to do cool tricks on it because it is very expensive. -Blake
My favorite toy is Sasha. Sasha is a Bratz doll. I like Sasha because I get to dress Sasha up to be a super star. Sasha is important to me because Sasha is a fashion girl. Adam (my brother) has a girlfriend called Nicky and she gave me Sasha as a present. I got sashay last year. Nicky gave me Sasha at home.
I bought my scooter because my other one was broken and rusty. I bought it because red is my favourite colour and I bought it with my own money. I also like riding it and doing tricks on it. -Corey
“The trampoline is my favourite toy because it keeps you active. My brothers and I got this for Christmas in 2010. Dad hired a digger to dig a hole in the ground so we couldn’t fall off. Dad put wood around the sides of the hole and then we put the trampoline in.
Because it is in the ground we can run onto it and jump up really high. Me and my brothers have heaps on fun on it. I can do flips, headstands, handstands, cartwheels and roly-polies.” -Emily

Bailie is toy poodle. She belongs to my big sister Hollee, but she has gone
to university in Auckland so I am taking care of her. I feed her morning andnight and brush every second day. Bailie sleeps with me at night, but whenHollee comes home she sleeps with Hollee again. When Hollee gets ready to goback to university, Bailie hopes into her suitcase, I think this means thatshe wants to go back to Auckland with her. :)This is a picture of Bailie and I. :)From Grace
Malachis’ Lawnmowing StoryIt’s mows the lawn and it’s awesome, watch the grass fly out the side. Dad brought the mower from his mate then he took it to poppa. Poppa took it to pieces and fixed it up and put it together again. On Saturday the 7th of January, Dad gave me the mower in our backyard. One day I was mowing and accidentally ran over our dogs rubber bone and cut it into millions of pieces.
1.Skateboarding is important to me because its fun and I like smashing into trees, falling off and doing stunts.
2.My Uncle let me practice on his skateboard until I get my own one.
3.I do skateboarding on the weekends.Outside my nanas house on the smooth concrete.
4.When I stand up on my skateboard, I go too fast and end up smashing into the wooden pole in the garden.

Isaac's Favourite “Toy Dog”
Roxy is my puppy dog. She is a maltese-poodle cross and she is two years old. We bought her from Cambridge pet shop and Mum and Dad gave her to me. Roxy chases sheep and her ears turn inside out when she runs. She likes to chase her tail and runs around in circles. I play games with her and she likes to run off with my shoe. Roxy is an important part of our family and we all love her.
This is my dog, Olive.
We got her in August 2010.We got her off trade-me.
We picked her up from Te Puke on a rainy day. The real owners name was Shannon.
Olive is special because she thinks she is a person and she jumps up all of the time on me. The first time we took her swimming she didn’t know what to do and kept biting the water and pouncing. She is extremely fast at running and her tongue keeps flopping on her face. She loves playing and cuddles and she can shake hands.
ps – she puked up in the car on the way home.
pps – when Dad comes home Olive never comes inside, but when Dad is gone Olive always comes inside.

This is our old classic bike. We burn down the side of our road on it, and have loads of fun. Christmas day mum and I threw eggs at dad while he rode past. And now there's one fried on the exhaust! I really like the bike because it can do up to 80kms. -Jaymie
