Hi Parents,
It’s been nice meeting first-time Room 3 parents and it’s always great to have second-time Room 3 parents back again! It always amazes me how different some siblings can be!
Thank you for organising your child’s stationery so promptly!
This will be my fifth year at Pahoia School and I am as excited as ever to be teaching in Room 3. It’s my aim to give your child the best year of their schooling. They will work hard this year but we will have a lot of fun in the process with creative activities. Teachers at Pahoia tend to buddy up for planning with another class and Petria Lee and I have planned a fun-filled term of learning. I will be talking about this more at the Meet The Teacher Evening on the 17th of February (6:45 start). I will be collecting parent e-mail addresses that evening as this is the main way I communicate with parents during the year. If you can’t make the meeting, it is important you e-mail me so I have your address otherwise I can’t keep you updated with what is going on.
Homework will start week 4, after I discuss it at the Meet The Teacher Evening.
From Week 2 onwards Room 3 will swim on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Clear communication between us is crucial for the best education of your child. If you have any concerns, please feel free to see me or e-mail me. PLEASE feel free have your child tour you through the class or talk you through their bookwork anytime.
